Baker's Cottage B and B Custom Sign

My intent as a sign-maker is to showcase the "human-touch" in my work.
Custom-designed, hand-made & painted, vintage-inspired wood signs are my specialty.
The slight imperfections are deliberate and intended to enhance the hand-made & vintage-inspired design. I strive to create specialty designs that in no way look like the computer designed vinyl signs that are so prevalent today. Your sign says a lot about you & your business. It's your first impression to your customers.
In today's marketplace so many settle for thin plastic, unattractive and
inappropriate signage that gives the impression the business is "temporary".
My signs look permanent and will age naturally and not crack or fade like many plastic signs and reflect positively on your business.

The western themed, sepia toned, movie poster mural was created and very soon after was painted over as the restaurant was
renovated and turned into a nightclub.

covered over. The logo design is still in use and was created out of metal for the new look.

Diana Sweets Sign at Clare's Harley Davidson

This vintage-inspired hand-painted sign was created for the coffee shop at Clare's Harley Davidson in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
Diana Sweets was originally opened on St. Paul St. in downtown St. Catharines in 1920 and all the original interior fixtures are now operating out of Clare's as Diana Sweets. I was commissioned to create a sign and menu board combining Diana Sweets with a touch of Clares HD. The sign is meant to look like its been around a long time. Instead of the original "Diana" in the shield, a portrait was done of Mr. & Mrs. Clare when they first opened Clare's Cycle & Sports in Fenwick, Ontario in the '50's.

March 7 09 is the open house of Clare's Harley Davidson store.
